Hans has over 30 years of domestic and international experience working in marketing and sales for business-to-business technology companies. He has led business development, corporate communications, public relations, product management and product marketing initiatives for companies ranging from startups to members of the Global 500.
Hans got involved with the Internet as a marketing vehicle in 1996, when he designed and built an e-commerce website that supported secure online ordering for a company which he co-founded. Since then, he has implemented many successful Internet marketing and lead generation programs for companies in a variety of industries.
Prior to founding Market Vantage in 2002, Hans was a senior product manager and market development manager for Apollo Computer, Hewlett Packard, and Novell, served as VP of Marketing for UltiMap Corporation, and more recently as Director of Business Development and Corporate Communications for the Software Division of Hitachi Computer Products.
Hans speaks fluent German. He holds a BA and has completed graduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts.
Cindy has over 20 years of IT and marketing experience including application expertise, website conversions, IT project management and internet marketing.
Since joining Market Vantage in 2010, Cindy has assisted many clients with their Search Engine Optimization, website analysis, online advertising, landing page conversions, analytics reporting and other customized projects to improve their internet marketing and business results. Her client specializations include colleges and universities, private secondary schools, business services, and companies in the technology and industrial sectors.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BS in Business Management MIS, Summa Cum Laude, Cindy is also Certified in Google PPC Management, including Advanced Search and Shopping Certifications.
Prior to joining Market Vantage, Cindy led IT projects and programs at Metcalf & Eddy, a global architecture and engineering firm later acquired by what is now AECOM, and at Discipleship Publications International (DPI). In addition to client management and client strategy at Market Vantage, Cindy manages internal marketing, and special projects utilizing her expertise in technology, communications, digital marketing and project management.
Devin has been working in the marketing and advertising industry since 2012 while also pursuing his BA in Outdoor Studies at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage. His experience includes: online advertising, search engine optimization, website development, website analytics, content strategy and development, strategic planning, consulting, and business development.
Devin joined Market Vantage in March of 2018 and is taking the role of managing new client accounts in Google Ads, while also providing expert support in web development, SEO, and email marketing. Devin has extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, and other online tools. Devin is a firm believer in actively learning on a regular basis, which he applies to any clients he’s working with.
John Matera is a seasoned marketing and sales professional who specializes in driving success at start-up companies, producing four profitable exits. Most recently he branded and launched Squark, an AI predictive analytics provider. Earlier he served as Vice President of Marketing for RedTail Solutions, a supplier of managed cloud services. Prior to that, John held leadership positions in general management, marketing, and sales at multiple high technology firms. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Marketing Management Executive Program.
Darryl is an expert in all facets of online marketing including effective landing page layout and design, search engine optimization, Pay-Per-Click management, copywriting, Web analytics & conversion optimization. Darryl is Google Ads certified, having successfully completed Google’s advertising professionals program, and a Yahoo! Ambassador, having received sponsored search training and professional recognition from Yahoo! Search Marketing. He is also accredited as an official Microsoft adExcellence Member. A Microsoft adExcellence Member has completed comprehensive online training on managing Microsoft AdCenter search engine marketing campaigns and has demonstrated expert knowledge by passing the Microsoft adExcellence accreditation exam.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Chris studied journalism at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, working at the college paper’s Arts and Entertainment department and at the radio station, WJJW, as a DJ. After graduating, he worked as a copyeditor for Cell Press on the journals AJHG and Immunity before taking his current position three years ago at Market Vantage, where he currently writes blog posts, builds and edits web pages, and assorted other tasks. He enjoys writing, music, and photography.
Web Developer & SEO Specialist
With over a decade of marketing and multimedia experience, Brent has developed the creative and technical prowess needed for effective digital communications. Specializing in website development and search engine optimization at Market Vantage, his prior roles align with the industries he now serves. As the former CTO and primary content developer for the Cambridge-based eLearning start up Build-It-Yourself, Brent project managed the development and integration of several SaaS solutions that helped served their customer base. At Pinnacle (formerly Tops Electronics), he headed the reclaimed inventory department after several years’ experience as an electronics technician. He helped create and maintain several database applications, which helped cross examine oversight in repaired units and drive efficiencies. In parallel, his freelance experience in web development and marketing aided in cultivating the skills he puts into practice daily for our clients.
