
HubSpot Fall 2025 Spotlight
The Spotlight Fall 2025 announcements represent more than an incremental update—they are a frank concession that Inbound Marketing playbook HubSpot pioneered decades ago isn’t working anymore. They’ve coined a new term—Loop Marketing—to brand their modern approach. Here is how they described it in their September press release:
“The old funnel assumed customers would come to you. They visit your website, read your blog, and convert on your terms. But when 60% of searches never leave Google and AI is answering questions before prospects even click, that playbook is broken,” said Kipp Bodnar, Chief Marketing Officer at HubSpot. “The Loop is fundamentally different. It meets customers everywhere they are, uses AI to personalize each message at scale, and turns every interaction to a learning opportunity that makes the Loop stronger. Teams using the Loop will turn AI into their competitive advantage.”
Loop Marketing is the unifying concept that wraps dozens of new AI-powered capabilities. This guide describes them at a high level. Our Take
Market Vantage interprets HubSpot’s moves as a big leap towards enabling advanced CRM, marketing automation, and customer experience tools for business of all sizes. Loop does not replace SEO and advertising, but rather adjusts them to suit the changes in how people use Google and AI search. Significantly, outbound communications are bolstered with improved personalization and automation.
Much is still in Beta, but that should not discourage existing users from diving in or evaluators from adding more checkboxes into the comparison matrix. In reality, some of the features we tested are knockout great and some are sub-wonderful. For example, we were able to build an agent in Breeze Studio to aid handoff of accounts from sales to the delivery team in just a few minutes. Results exceeded our expectations. On the other hand, Marketing Studio did a poor job of generating campaigns on our initial try – bland prose, off-brand graphics, and odd form layouts.
